Ana Paula Oliveira is a Brazilian actress who was born on May 26, 1978 at Campinas Sao Paulo. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997) are among her best-known films. Ana Paula Oliveira has been a part of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime since March 2020. She is currently the manager of the Assassination Witness Project, and is an integral part of GI-TOC's multilateral engagement. The GI-TOC's research activities is focused on disappearances, assassinations and other forms of violence that occur in the framework of illicit economics. Her research interests are in the impact of organized criminality on the law, policies and legislation that pertain to human rights. Ana Paula is a graduate of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva) and holds an LL.M. She also holds an LL.M. degree from the School of Public Law as well an MBA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula received a magnacum laude bachelor's degree from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in Legal and Social Sciences. She is a qualified lawyer, having practised at the law firm that focused on public law litigation for over four years. Her past experiences also included working with roles in non-governmental organizations with their headquarters in Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
