Courteney is the name of an American actor, director and producer, director and actress from America. She is best known for her performance in the TV show "Friends," and in one of the main roles in the film franchise 'Scream. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama and developed an interest in acting when she was an infant. She studied architecture in Mount Vernon College in Washington, DC But, she eventually left her studies in pursuit of a full-time acting career. She made her film debut in the role in the film 'Down Twisted'. She started gaining popularity after she played one the most important characters in the horror-slasher film "Scream". It was extremely successful commercially and earned around eleven times its budget. Also, it was praised by the reviewers. She reprised her performance throughout the three sequels from the original film. The popularity of Courteney Cox reached levels never before after she was cast in the main character in the acclaimed sitcom "Friends'". The show won numerous awards and nominations for her role.
